Digital answering systems which include Call ID, AND have the capability to hold several outgoing messages (including 'reject call') where sys allows user to 'tailor' which outgoing messages go to selected callers (via CID). I have an old, GE digital ans mach w/CID that I got on sale for about $18, and this unit is the absolute BEST answering machine anyone could hope for. Before it dies, I'm desperately trying to find a newer model that has the same capabilities... I've struck-out everywhere, and few have even heard of this system! Since the govt 'do not call' registry has come into play, it works, only now customers get 'sales' type calls from companys they do business with--like the phone company, for a good example. I've accumulated no less than 14 of these 'above the law' callers, logged 'em in to be rejected, and presto! They're cut off at their knees on the first ring!
Any help finding something similar would greatly be appreciated!
